Competitive Comparison

Our fluids surpass all competitors in longevity. including those priced significantly higher!

Our proprietary additive system provides exceptional protection and longevity. This chart demonstrates Duratherm’s exceptional resistance to oxidation, the primary factor contributing to sludge accumulation and fluid deterioration.

Sometimes it's better to have less!

Lower TAN and less viscosity change mean longer service, higher performance and not sludge!

About the Test

We selected six competitive products, encompassing low-cost hot oils to higher-end premium fluids from Exxon Mobil Corporation®, Dow Chemical Company®, Paratherm Corporation®, Petro-Canada Inc®, Momar® and Multitherm LLC®.

About the Method

The IP48 test standard involves exposing 40 millilitres of fluid to 204 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) for a full day while blowing through the samples at a rate of 15 litres per hour. This indicates a fluid’s resistance to oxidation and speeds up the fluid’s aging process.
